LookIndia
supports ODBC databases. This means you can develop a database on Microsoft
Access, SQL, mySQL, and then connect to it using ASP&Perl, Java or any
other code. Databases could be used to store information for a catalog,
a new feed, a message board, and many other typical web devices.

Anytime you need to install a new ODBC datasource, we will need to
update the system DSN information. Therefore, in addition to
uploading the database to your site, you will also need to tell us
to establish a DSN link to the datasource.
Note:
this does not affect users that connect using Visual Basic and the
Microsoft Jet Engine. |
